Dear friends and neighbors,
The Glassell Park Improvement Association and the Glassell Park Neighborhood Council will be co-sponsoring a meeting with the developers of the Abode At Glassell Park project this coming Saturday January 28th at 10:00 AM. The meeting will consist of a presentation by the developers and a question and answer period with the audience. This is a chance for the developers to hear the voice of the community regarding this project.
This is an extremely important meeting for the community to attend. If preserving Walnut Canyon for the benefit of everyone who lives in Northeast Los Angeles is important to you, we strongly urge you come to the meeting and share your message to the developers.
WHERE: Glassell Park Community & Senior Center 3750 N. Verdugo Road
WHEN: 1/28/17 at 10:00am
WHAT TO BRING: Your passion for keeping Walnut Canyon as open green space!
Also, we thank you so much for your donations to the GoFundMe page. The funds raised will help lawyers analyze and properly respond to the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) that the developers submitted recently. As you may know, this proposed 32 house development would completely change the landscape of our neighborhood. It is so important that impacts on traffic, noise, drainage, wildlife, and protected trees are properly addressed and not completely glossed over.

Hope to see you at 10am on Saturday!
